Hello!
My name is Diana Kuan. I’m a New York-based multi-creative working in food, photography, and illustration. In addition to making things with my hands, I lead workshops teaching others to expand their creativity in the kitchen, behind the camera, and with a paintbrush. I live by the philosophy that the arts are interconnected,
My first cookbook The Chinese Takeout Cookbook (Ballantine Books, 2012) and was on the Wall Street Journal Bestselling Books list. My second cookbook, Red Hot Kitchen (Avery, 2019), dives into the world of DIY Asian chili sauces and how to cook with them. Red Hot Kitchen has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Salon, and other publications.
I have 12+ years of experience leading group classes. I have a passion for public speaking and spreading the joy of the culinary and visual arts. Past clients for corporate team-building events have included AirBnB, American Express, Columbia Business School, Eater, Google, Kickstarter, West Elm, and Wyndham Hotels.
